Bench Skagerak

Gesa Hansen has created two unique furniture pieces  together with Skagerak. Her focus is on the formerly essential craft of woodturning, whose function and expression she subjects to a contemporary reinterpretation. By highlighting the skill of woodturning she enhances and underlines the decoration by making it part of the construction. Thus, in the ‘Ropes’ bench the turned wooden columns both support the armrests and function as legs.
